* Behind the Tribute * It is with GREAT pleasure that I present to you this collection of Wesley Willis covers. For many, this has been a long trip completed within a short period of time. Each contributing artist was given the task of taking their Wesley track of choice and putting a whole new spin to it! The goal now (as it has always been) was to honor Wesley by showing the world that people from different musical backgrounds listen to his music and words. I'm confident and proud in the work... favoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 16 reviews ) Topic: Alternative Source: http://www.wesleytribute.org

Guitar instrumental. Short (1:55), sparse and quiet, as usual for me. Uses jazz harmony, which is unusual for me. This is only two tracks, and to make it easier for remixers the tracks are separated into the left and right channel. The chords, for those who care about this kind of stuff, are: G7/A G7 B half diminished C7/D C7/Bb Topics: guitar, instrumental, jazz, sparse, minimal

Original music interspersed with "reality radio" which you may find amusing, boring, or insulting. Some of the people featured here and memories here I hold very fondly. An instrumental "concept album" - heavy drone-doom metal - minimal feeding-back guitars, simple bass, heavy drums, based on bands like Khanate, Sunn O))), Jesu, but not quite as heavy or down-tuned. Very simple and droney, but a few pieces are of my more common style, with improvised guitar solos, and spacey synths. A few might even be considered heavy metal, or death metal.
